Freezing on scab tires

Two weeks since the last post and still no word on my back tire. Contacted bikebandit.com. Turns out, Goodyear owns Dunlop, and Goodyear-Dunlop workers are on strike. Fortunately, they have hired replacement workers, so I'm sure in a few weeks (like, mid-December) I'll be tooling around on my scab-built Z-rated tire. Yay!

as a builder of Dunlop bike tires, I would urge you to purchase a different brand of tire at this time as the ones who are building tires now are in no way properly trained. it takes months of training with qualified builders over your shoulder and this just isn't happening, this is shown by the 800 tires that were returned by goodyear last week that were rejected for quality reasons.

I think my back-ordered tire is on the verge of being canceled anyway. The worst part is, I probably won't be able to return the front tire, or at least not for full credit, but I'm going to try anyway. If I can at least get most of my money back, I'll probably get some Pirellis from BikeBandit; otherwise I'll probably get them from somewhere else.
